As a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, Alissa leads specific team and manager seminars to develop leaders, leverage individual and team strengths, build partnerships, resolve conflicts, maximize performance and increase engagement levels. Alissa’s business background includes ten years in finance at such firms as Credit Suisse, a global investment bank; IPC, a former Goldman Sachs portfolio company serving the financial industry; and Guggenheim Partners, a boutique investment management firm. She bridges her experiences as a former professional tennis player, Wall Street professional, and leadership coach to empower others to think bigger and get results. Alissa holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley. She received her coaching credentials from New York University, Results Coaching Systems and Gallup Strengths Coaching Program.
Alissa was an All-American tennis player at the University of California, Berkeley and competed on the Women’s Professional Tennis Circuit, achieving a world ranking of #202 in doubles. She was ranked #1 in the USTA National Women’s 40 Doubles in 2008, 2009, and 2011 and #1 in the Women’s 45 Doubles in 2013 and 2015. In 2012, she won the ITF World Championships Women’s 45 Doubles. In 2014, she represented the USA and won the ITF World Team Championships Women’s 45.
She has organized teams to help raise over $50,000 for Cycle For Survival, an indoor team cycling fundraiser that has raised over $10 million in support of research on rare cancers at Memorial Sloan-Kettering. She is deeply passionate about helping underprivileged teens (and all people) believe in themselves and pursue their dreams.
